Peritonial Mesothelioma
Peritonial Mesothelioma is a type of cancer that affects the peritoneum human abdominal cavity. However, depending on the location of cancerous tumors (pleura and peritoneum) symptoms vary.
There are different treatments available for malignant peritoneal Mesothelioma, depending on the state of their diagnosis. The doctors and researchers are constantly working to improve upon the existing treatments. There is no established method in determining the stage of cancer for a TNM system is used.
Symptoms of the cancer include nausea and vomiting, weight loss, fever, intestinal obstruction, loss of appetite, stomach pain general area. A person with peritoneal malignant can be diagnosed because of abdominal complaints such as a lump or swelling, unexplained weight loss, fever, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, nausea, constipation and caused by intestinal obstruction. Similarly, the symptoms of peritoneal Mesothelioma, such as nausea, vomiting and loss of appetite, can be seen in a series of abdominal and systemic conditions.
In some of 1980 asbestos has been determined to cause several life-threatening diseases related to exposure to asbestos (asbestosis, lung cancer, pleural and peritoneal Mesothelioma). Those suffering from peritoneal Mesothelioma are mostly older men who worked between asbestos decades ago, when the workers were not protected from asbestos dust.
